What is Therapy and do I even need

it?

Therapy is a private space where you can come to process your past and ongoing life events while learning new coping skills to get to where you want and need to be in life. Sure, you can talk to family and friends or maybe watch some self-help videos, but the unique therapeutic relationship that is formed in therapy helps to create lasting change and healing - that let’s face it, is not always easy.

Choosing to come to therapy is a personal choice and it needs to be the right timing for you and/or your family. If you are experiencing ongoing difficulties that just don’t seem to go away, it may be time to considering starting therapy.

How will therapy help?

By providing a safe and non-judgmental space for you to discuss your difficulties and learn new skills, therapy can help you regain control of your life and get you to where you want to be.

How do I know you can help me?

At Real Honest Therapy, we are committed to providing the best care by actively seeking out training to stay updated on mental health research and evidenced based practices. We also understand that you are a unique individual and will utilize this to enhance your strengths and capabilities.

What about fees & payment?

  • Please see the Team page for each therapist’s fee.

  • We accept all major credit cards & payment is due at the time of service.

  • At this time we do not accept insurance.

  • We can provide a superbill so that you may seek reimbursement through your PPO insurance’s out-of-network benefits.

If you contact your insurance company for information about reimbursement, it would be helpful to ask them the the following questions:

1. Is there a deductible that must be met before receiving benefits for out of network mental health services?

2. Once you meet your deductible, what are your benefits for out of network mental health services? If they ask for a procedure code, it’s 90834-95.

3. Are there any limits to reimbursement? For example, a maximum amount reimbursed per session, or a limit on the number of sessions allowed.

Please Note: You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
